DESCRIPTION

James Mason, a twenty-two year old deer, just finished his art degree. Now that he's no longer allowed to stay at his school's dorms, his only choice is to move back to his sleepy hometown of New Blackden, a little town between Toronto and Sudbury. But with his parents moved out of that town, his choices lie among the friends he's made in that town ever since he moved in after finishing high school, who have all offered to let him stay with them while he decides:

James is excited to return and spend time with his friends. And yet, once he returns, he realizes there's something wrong. All of his friends are acting off, like their issues got worse in his absence. And on top of everything else, strange things are happening around town...

The moon shines brightly, reflecting off of the lake's black surface, tinging the world in the dark colors of a rainbow. A prism, made of quartz.
